The world economy is fast changing from industrial to knowledge based economy . In this economy , the intangible asset like intellectual capital is a foundation of sustainable growth and competitive lead . Because of its importance , organizations today are paying more special attention to intellectual capital development and management . Better organizational performance results from better management of firm's intellectual capital . This study investigates the relationship between intellectual capital and firm performance using asample of Vietnamese companies . The findings confirm the strong links between the intellectual capital and performance of Vietnamese firms . The implication and applications of the study have also been discussed in detail .
