This thesis contains, as way of introduction, general information regarding cloud computing. It creates a foundation from which to discuss the status quo of cloud accounting in Vietnam, including its definition, various types, and benefits. The core investigation of this paper is to research, via the surveying of professional accountants, the feasibility of the application of cloud accounting to the accounting system of Vietnam. This investigation includes the current situation, potential adoption, benefits, and impact factors with regards to the process of implementation. The conclusion is comprised of recommendations for the following interested parties: users, accountants, providers, and government agencies, with the aim of improving the popularity of cloud accounting in Vietnam.
